What Are Agent Channels?
Agent Channels are the surfaces where people interact with a Maven agent. Rather than running a separate bot per channel, Maven connects one agent to many channels. Every channel shares the same reasoning engine, knowledge, and policies.
Supported Channels
- Web and in-app chat
- SMS, WhatsApp, and social messaging
- Real-time voice with Maven Voice
- The human agent's help desk with Maven Copilot
- Slack and Microsoft Teams for internal support
Why It Matters
Customers switch channels, and inconsistent answers erode trust. A single agent across channels delivers omnichannel support with one set of rules to maintain. Channels can also be used in Segments to tailor behavior, for example shorter answers on SMS.
