What Are Maven Apps?
Maven Apps are how the Maven platform plugs into the rest of a company's technology stack. An app can bring in knowledge from a system, add Actions and Triggers the agent can use, or add a channel where customers can reach the agent. Maven offers pre-built apps for common systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, Snowflake, and Genesys, and developers can build their own with App Studio.
How Maven Apps Work
- Serverless: Apps run as managed, auto-scaling services, so there is no infrastructure to maintain.
- Install once, configure per agent: The same app can be installed on many agents, each with its own settings.
- Isolated and secure: Apps run in isolated environments and authenticate with the platform using signed requests.
- Lifecycle hooks: Apps respond to install events and action requests through defined endpoints.
